R.I.P THE SERIES

R.I.P. is the dark and surreal comedy in which none of the characters will be able to rest in peace. With seasons of ten chapters of twenty-five minutes each, all episodes tell autoconclusive stories located in different towns of the deepest, archaic and retrograde Spain, with peculiar names like Matagorda (Almería), Aldeaquemada (Jaén) or La Hoz de la Vieja (Teruel). As a whole, it is a catalog of death with dark humor as a great backdrop. Accidents, suicides, murders and post-mortem events catapult the plots in each chapter, and their protagonists are cartoony and aberrant. Acceptance of death, social sideboard, family dysfunctionality, marital tensions, the right to die freely or economic interest; all of these recreated in a not only narrative but also visual bloody satire.

RIP the series, has been a finalist on CONNECTA FICCION 2020 and semi-finalist on IBERSERIES2020 and selected on SITGES PITCHBOX 2020.
